Kids

Our vision is that families are following Jesus together throughout the week in their homes, schools, and neighborhoods.

Did you know? The most common church model has a child under their care for about 60 minutes a week. That is an estimated 50 hours a year if a child attended consistently. A child is in their home an average of 3,000 hours a year. We believe the role of a parent is one of the ways God wants to help parents grow into the fullness of the measure of Christ.

We read in Deuteronomy 6 that the most important thing parents should do: love God with all their heart, soul, and strength and impress that love onto their child. The greatest influence on a child’s spiritual journey isn’t their small group leader or the pastors of our church. It is the parent. So, we want to help you win and do family better!

Service In Kids

We are focused on connecting kids to a small circle of peers and a trusted team of volunteers that are partnering with parents to help each child see God for who He is, help them to see themselves the way God sees them, and help them to love others the way God loves them so they can take Jesus to their home, school, and neighborhood.

We have programming for every kid from babies to 5th grade during all of our services! Our experience is designed with the home and church in mind, therefore we invite every family to make three commitments:

Gather consistently at Mission Church.
Grow together with Jesus in the home.
Go as a disciple in the surrounding schools and neighborhoods.

**Early Childhood**

Here we help grow kids that truly love Jesus and are amazed at the wonder of their Heavenly Father. It is our hope that your child will learn these basic truths: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

**Elementary**

This environment builds kids that discover a personal relationship with Christ and pursue a lifestyle that is guided by His Spirit and truth. Before kids head to middle school, we want them to know: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

He is on the most important adventure of his life, and we can't wait for your elementary-aged child to join him! Your first step is to pick up The Adventures With Vinny Workbook at Mission Church on a Sunday. This workbook is a resource designed for you to use at church and at home. This resource will **catalyze and nourish a child’s and family's journey toward finding and following Christ**.
