Woe is Me

Boo Hoo Hoo. Yes, it is all about me.

I've been sidelined lately. Pretty much the whole month has been a write off. First there was cellulitis that appeared on my lower leg. Red, inflamed, hot, painful, fever of 102, overnight stay in the hospital. Two weeks off work getting antibiotics by IV - a two hour long dose every four hours, 24 hours a day. Went back to work too soon and spent a week not functioning simply because I was exhausted - by 3 in the afternoon I was crashed on the couch at home. Came back to work the following week and continued to struggle - by mid afternoon each day my ankles were impersonating water balloons. I then came down with a bladder infection, which I'm suffering through now. One question: have you ever noticed how mere Tylenol is always suggested by people who aren't actually in pain? Just a thought.

One does need to remain positive. It's all about the attitude. After all, if life hands you crap... make crapenade.

Hey RWK my good wishes for you on a speedy recovery!! I am recovering from a bout of chf and when i was in the hospital i had iv of lasix I never had to get up and down so much in my life!!! lol sounds like your in good spirits and good humor. Carry on brother and keep giving them heaven there in your small piece of the planet
