I think the family next door is reading my blog. They've erected a privacy screen to stand between their back porch and the Mission. The 'screen' is constructed of a wooden skid, an old mattress and an area rug.
No duct tape. None, zip, zilch, zero. Avec sans duct le tape.
I am in awe.

i use to have a rain coat that survived a little longer with duct tape...great stuff, many uses...but not so good for ducts.
pretty soon i think that we all will need much more than even duct tape can handle.
the time for talking and sitting will soon be over. the time for watching and helping will also be ending.
these things will be done.
and no one will be needing a box of food.
it seems that things are on the edge of the end and that i need to get busy...i need to be watching and helping more than i have been. i think that i have been lazy and distracted with unimportant things.
i read here of you doing these kind of things in your daily work. you are being the hand of Jesus to people that need help.
i do not think that i am open enough with the news of Jesus or even the Love of God like i should be.
