Dignity

Tonight was our weekly movie night. About halfway through the movie one of the homeless guys got up and left in a hurry. After he was gone I mopped up the puddle of pee from where he had been sitting.

I'm glad it happened during the movie and not during dinner. The room is dark and only one other person knew what was going on. The man was able to leave with at least some of his dignity intact.

We are now referring to this as "The 2nd Great Pee Incident". Soon, I'm sure, we will be able to refer to this as, "What has come to be known as 'The 2nd Great Pee Incident' ". All good things, I suppose, come to those who wait.
